Russell’s late grandfather, Bill Springham, ministered to seafarers for nearly 20 years, latterly on behalf of SCFS. Russell became a Christian aged 23 and shortly after his grandfather’s passing an opportunity arose to serve with SCFS. He and his Filipino wife also often visit her homeland to minister to believers.
Port Adelaide is the seaport suburb of South Australia’s state capital. Founded 175 years ago it became one of the areas earliest settlements. The port handles a diverse range of inbound and outbound cargoes.
