Over the past twelve months the team and I have been very conscious of the power of singing God's praises with the seafarers.

Peter Wells and myself have developed an interesting approach to engaging with seafarers: when the opportunity presents itself Peter will put his magnetic sketch board on a fridge (or some such) and deliver an engaging talk. We follow this with me playing my guitar for a song based around the story. Popular favourites with the crew are ‘My Lighthouse’, ‘Thy Word’, ‘Amazing Grace’ and a new one we have been learning called: ‘Let the Lower Lights Keep Burning’.
