Martin and Monika Otto founded the work among sailors in Hamburg in 1987. They visit ships in Hamburg port every day to befriend the seafarers and to meet them in their physical, social and spiritual needs.

"The Messenger" video will give you a glimpse of their passion for the work and how God has opened their hearts and home to the seafarers. You will also see Martin's "Magic Rope" talk as he explains about the broken link between God and man.
