SCFS Montrose : Rescuing the Christmas Gift Delivery! – Part 3

In early January, Aberdeenshire was hit with blizzards and heavy snow, resulting in an amber weather warning. Mike was left 'snowed/iced in' for a few days, but Elie and Michael came to the rescue in delivering more post Christmas gifts to the seafarers...

January 8th: The Aspen is only ever here for a few hours and sailed away early before Christmas, but Michael caught them at 8am to give the crew their Christmas bag and a personal illustrated Study Bible for Joshua, a likely disciple, who has kept in touch with Montrose Port Mission.

January 9th: Mike was iced in but Elie came to the rescue, visited the nine
Russians on a cargo vessel who then came to the Seafarers Cabin and wrote their appreciation in the visitors book.

The Dutch and Filipino crew on this vessel were all too busy to visit the Seafarer’s Cabin but the master sent these guys to say thank you on behalf of
the ship.
