Two of the six crew from the Philippines
accepted our Christian ‘Messroom Message’ of Jesus firmly declaring that we must be ‘Born Again’ and have the life of God in us.

Ukraine third Officer Vladyslav thought the three Russians might agree to opening the presents on the 25th December……….. (rather than 7th January)
…….which now seems to be the agreed Ukraine Christmas day.

The Russian C/o Petr on an otherwise all Ukraine crewed ship was obviously
touched by the gifts from Montrose Christians and insisted on taking our
photos.

We caught the ship waiting for the pilot which delighted the Filipino crew who knew that we would have Christmas presents.
Pietari the Finnish master received the gift bag and chocolates and had time for a conversation as we explained how these gifts were the collaborative effort of Montrose Christians.

This Russian and Ukraine crew would have missed out had not Elie found a safe way to board and give them our Christmas welcome bag.
