The new cruise ship season in St. Lucia opened this month. October is usually slow at Port Castries not many ships come to our Port in October, however from November onwards many ships are expected to call and it will get busy. In October I visited Rhapsody of the Seas and Britannia and had a good time on both of these ships.
A table was reserved in the crew mess room covered with a white cloth for me to display materials I brought for the seafarers. Many of the crew came to take materials from the table. I was encouraged when a man from the Philippines asked me for a Bible and I was able to give him one. I had a conversation with a young man from India who believes in many different gods. I told him about Jesus and how He died on the cross for our sins. Please pray for this young man.
Britannia
The day I visited Britannia the Indian crew were celebrating Diwali. The crew mess room was decorated with lights. I was reminded of when Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." ( John 8:12) Some of the crew took materials from the table especially calendars for 2025. Pray for the crew on Britannia that they will come to Jesus Christ who is the true light.
