Joy in Bringing the Good News

John is busy visiting the cruise ships in St Lucia. Read on to discover more about the joy he is bringing onboard....

"Today is my second visit on board Arvia in the month of January. I visited the Arvia about two weeks ago and I met Christina from India. She told me she is a Christian. She said she needs a Bible, and she asked if I can bring a Bible for her the next time I visit the ship. I promised to bring a Bible for her. I brought the Bible for Christina today and I gave it to her. She was very happy and thankful for the Bible. Pray for Christina."

Grand Princess - 14.02.2026

Today, I visited the Grand Princess. The crew on board was interested in the materials. They took calendar, scripture texts, and other literature from the table. I spoke to a man from the Philippines who is a believer He shared that there is a Christian fellowship group on board, but he is not able to attend because of his work schedule. Pray that he will be encouraged and have time with other believers.

I visited this ship in Ketchikan, Alaska, last summer. Some of the crew who I met in Ketchikan, are still on board the ship, and they were very happy to see me in St. Lucia.

Britannia - 28.02.2026

I had a profitable time sowing the good seed of the word of God on board Britannia today. A crew member from the Philippines came and sat at the table. We had a very long conversation. He said that there is a Christian Fellowship Group on board, but not many of the Christians are able to attend the group meetings because of the way that they work and they don't have enough time to attend the fellowship group meetings on board. The crew welfare officer is from South Africa, told me that her contract will soon end and she's going home next week. Pray that she will have a safe journey back home and be reunited with her family.
